Here’s How Ed Hartwell Found Out Keshia Knight Pulliam Gave Birth

Things are worse than ever between these two.

Keshia Knight Pulliam and her ex-husband Ed Hartwell are not on the best of terms, despite the fact that they just welcomed a baby girl together. In fact, things are so frosty between the former couple that Ed was informed of his daughter Ella Grace's arrival in a very unconventional way.

According to Page Six, Ed found about about Ella's birth through his lawyer. “He didn’t get a call or anything [from Knight Pulliam or her family],” sources say. “Ed basically found out at the same time as the rest of the world.”
Insiders say Ed only found out about the baby's arrival after Keshia was already home from the hospital, meaning it was at least a couple of days after the fact. While that may seem like a strike to the heart for a new father, the sources go on to say that Ed still isn't claiming the baby as his, and has doubts that he's the father. He's still seeking a paternity test as confirmation.
As we know, things got pretty messy during Ed and Keshia's short relationship. Their whirlwind marriage, just four months after they started dating, quickly fell apart amid mutual accusations of infidelity, and by the time Keshia got pregnant, they were on the brink of a split.
The split indeed came, and required lawyers to sort out issues of paternity, alimony and child support. That drama is still going on, as Ed maintains he has serious doubts he's the father of Keshia's child.
Watch the former Cosby Show star talk about her marital drama in the video above.
