Will L&HH's Mendeecees Get Out of Prison Early? The Judge Has Ruled...

More details on the reality star's request.

Love & Hip Hop: New York star Mendeecees Harris was just denied his wish to have his prison sentence reduced.

According to The Democrat and Chronicle, after Harris requested to have his federal drug distribution sentence cut down to three years back in February, a judge chose to decline.

The reality star is currently serving an eight-year prison sentence that began in December 2015. He was indicted for participating in a high-stakes drug operation between New York and Rochester, New York.

According to Harris's attorney, Dawn Florio, her client only had a small role in the ring, and forfeited $170,000 in his earnings from LHH. She also claims he volunteered at youth outreach programs prior to his sentencing.

Prosecutors seemed to share differing sentiments than Florio's, as they determined that his role was large enough to justify his lengthy sentence.
