DC superheroes show there's power in numbers in the first trailer for the highly anticipated film Justice League.

Bruce Wayne (Ben Affleck) and Diana Prince (Gal Gadot) are forced to step up to to the plate and recruit a few of their powerful peers to save the world as it faces a new major threat.

The action-packed clip shows Batman telling Wonder Woman there's a threat coming to sabotage the universe, and they have to be ready for when it hits.

Joining them on the quest to save the day are The Flash (Ezra Miller), Aquaman (Jason Momoa), and Cyborg (Ray Fisher), in addition to a few minor appearances by Amy Adams' Lois Lane and J.K. Simmons' Commissioner Gordon.

The film, directed by Man of Steel and Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice spearheader Zack Snyder, is considered the DC movie universe equivalent to Marvel's teamwork-focused Avengers.
