Janet Jackson's now back on the market as it was recently confirmed that she is on track to divorce her husband of five years, Wissam Al Mana.

Now, since the news broke, Miss Jackson was spotted out and about on her own, and she seems to be in a happy place, despite the situation.

The pop music icon, who gave birth to their son, Eissa, just three months ago, was spotted heading out in a black look with a smile plastered on her face.

A source who works closely with the couple revealed that Jackson felt like Al Mana had become too controlling of her and hated the effect it was having on her career.

"She thought he had become too controlling during the pregnancy and she had already allowed him to dictate her appearance and even the way she performed at concerts," the source said. "It drove her crazy and she felt she was losing her fan base."
