Empire season 3 has come to a dramatic end, with some plot twists that nobody could have expected.

Almost better than the drama was the fans' reactions on Twitter. We gathered the most hilarious ones of all — but fair warning: spoilers below! 

The episode looked like it was heading for a happy ending for Lucious, Cookie and the boys following last week's bloody episode — but, of course, that wouldn't have been the Lee Daniels way.

Instead, Andre Lyon finally followed through on his season-long desire to kill his father and planted a bomb in Lucious's car. While he had a last second change of heart, Lucious was still hit by the explosion leaving some to speculate that he lost his leg in the blast.
