While both Rob Kardashian and his rumored new girlfriend, Mehgan James, both denied being romantically involved, new reports show that the former Bad Girls Club star was actually solely behind the dating talk.

According to TMZ, their sources say that Mehgan's "team" contacted several media outlets with the intentions of planting the fake story to build her following and get her name out there.

It seems as her plan worked as her Instagram follower count rose to 806K, doubling in just a week.

Reports show that Rob's famous sisters were afraid of this as they allegedly said they did not want Rob with the BGC and Basketball Wives alum as they believe she is hungry for fame. If these reports hold any truth, they may have been proven right.
