Transformers: The Last Knight, the latest installment from the hugely successful franchise, is currently showing in theaters and one person who is largely to thank for the franchise's successes is its director Michael Bay.

One of the stars of the film, Josh Duhamel, spoke on just what makes being a part of a Bay film such a one-of-a-kind experience.

"There's something about the energy on the set of a Michael Bay movie that's unlike anything else," he said. "You're shooting for six, seven, eight months. You're beat down, but every day you come to set and it's like everybody is on their A-game, partly because you don't know what the hell you're going to be shooting."

That's not all. Duhamel added that the celebrated director is known for spontaneously making changes at the last minute, keeping the actors on their toes.

"Then, what you're supposed to be saying, you're not actually saying. He changes everything," he continued. "So there's this mentality that you have to bring it every single day."

Transformers: The Last Knight is currently in theaters everywhere.
