Kim Kardashian is Reportedly Angry About Jay-Z's Alleged '4:44' Diss of Kanye West

Is Hov out of line for this?

A wide range of people fielded some sort of reference from Jay-Z’s hot new 4:44 album. Most have responded, too.

That includes Kim Kardashian, sort of. The reality star and wife of Kanye West is reportedly not too happy about Hov’s alleged references of his former friend and Watch The Throne cohort. According to Hollywood Life, sources say Kim is protective and believes Jay is kicking ‘Ye while he’s down.

“She gets very protective of her husband, like a mama bear […] She thinks it was a low blow to diss Kanye and throw around words like ‘insane’ after all he’s been through,” a source told the news site. “Kanye had a real difficult time last year and is still coming out of it, so to hit him like that wasn‘t cool.”

The lyrics that supposedly have her upset come from the project’s opening track, on a song called “Kill Jay Z”, and read as follows: “I know people backstab you, I felt that too / But this 'f**k everybody attitude' ain’t natural / But you ain’t the same, this ain’t Kumba ‘Ye / But you got hurt because you did cool by 'Ye / You give him $20 million without blinking / He gave you 20 minutes on stage, f**k what was he thinking? / 'F**k wrong with everybody?’ is what you saying / But if everyone is crazy, you’re the one that’s insane.”

Ouch. Kim Kardashian herself had a rough 2016. She was robbed at gunpoint while in Paris in October at around the same time Kanye was committed to the UCLA Medical Center for a psychological evaluation.

“Kim would like nothing more than to drop the whole feud and move on with their lives,” the source also said. “She likes Bey and Jay and would love to be friends—but it has to be a two-way street. If they aren’t interested then so be it.”
