The cast of Black Ink Crew: Chicago has been showing out this season, and the latest odd moment is the airing of Van and Jen's kidnapping fiasco.

On Wednesday night's episode, Van was determined to show Jen that his love was real, so he decided to concoct a plan that revolved around him staging a kidnapping and giving her a ring.

Needless to say, while they may have found the gesture to be unique and adorable, most of the viewers of the episode didn't agree with the sentiment, with many giving the couple a major side-eye for the unusual profession of love.
