Sherri Shepherd's Unemployed Ex Is Making More Demands

These are probably the craziest ones yet.

The drama between Sherri Shepherd and her ex, Lamar Sally, seemed to have subsided for a moment as the two have been out of the headlines for some time.

The former The View co-host isn't out of the dark yet, however, as recent reports indicate that her ex-husband, Jeff Tarpley, whom she was married to for nine years, is seeking to get 50/50 custody of their 12-year-old son and also wants a hefty award in cash from the actress.

To review Tarpley and Shepherd's history, the two were married for nine years, but once they split in 2010, the actress was granted full custody of their son Jeffrey Jr

The Blast reported that she and their son relocated to New York from Los Angeles after the divorce once she landed the gig at The View. According to Radar Online, her ex, however, most recently claimed that she is back in L.A. filming for NBC's Trial and Error and now that they are no longer separated by state lines, he wants split custody of their son.

Shepherd, however, firmly disagrees with his sentiments, and believes he should keep his current visitation right where he sees Jeffrey Jr. every other weekend, with one weekly overnight stay.

In addition to refusing to accept her conditions, Jeffrey Sr. is demanding that she pay him $10K in attorney's fees, claiming that her income is much greater than his $2.4K a month earnings. He also makes the case that while she travels to Canada for three months to film her upcoming project, he should be allowed to spend time with their son as opposed to him staying with nannies.

A hearing between the two is set to take place this morning in Los Angeles.
