There are so many hip hop artists from New York, but you can almost call Jay-Z "Mr. New York". He created an unofficial New York anthem with "Empire State of Mind."  From the Marcy Houses projects in Bedford-Stuyvesant, Brooklyn to the Tribeca neighborhood in Manhattan, Jay-Z is living proof that New York City is the concrete jungle where dreams are made of.
