Hunger Games

It was the movie event that had audiences saying, "Twilight, who?" Hunger Games' appetite for box office dollars shows no signs of slowing down. The multi-part adaptation of Suzanne Collins' young adult fantasy novel made a worldwide star out of newcomer Jennifer Lawrence, but also sparked controversy when a group of so-called fans tweeted in protest over the casting of Black actors Amandla Stenberg and Dayo Okeniyi as District 11 tributes.
