Taye Diggs - Taye Diggs starred as novelist Harper Stewart, whose latest book would reveal a secret that threatens to end a wedding. From 2007-2013, Diggs starred on the hit Shonda Rhimes series Private Practice, and in 2013 gave us a rom-com double-whammy with Baggage Claim and The Best Man Holiday. Taye Diggs - 1999 was a breakout year for Taye Diggs, playing a groom struck with cold-feet in The Wood and a writer with a secret in the hit filmThe Best Man. Since then, the actor has made a substantial career in TV and film, including starring opposite Sanaa Lathan in the hip hop romantic comedy Brown Sugar (2002) and as the sexy Dr. Sam Bennett on TV's Private Practice. Malinda Williams - The former Mrs. Mekhi Phifer landed her breakout role not in film but in the hit TV-series-based-on-a-film Soul Food. She's continued acting, garnering juicier roles in Love Don't Cost a Thing (2003) and Be Cool (2005). She released her third studio album, So Amazin', in 2006 to low sales, and has not released another LP since. She did venture into film again in 2013, starring in the romantic comedy Baggage Claim. In 2009, she married music producer The-Dream and had a daughter. The couple divorced in 2011. Most recently, she ventured into reality TV, competing on Dancing With the Stars in 2013 and her own reality series Christina Milian: Turned Up in 2015. Sanaa Lathan - Immediately following The Wood, Sanaa Lathan's status went A-list in Black Hollywood, landing lead roles in hit flicks like Love & Basketball (2000), Brown Sugar (2002), Alien vs. Predator (2004) and Something New (2006). She also received a best actress Tony nomination for her performance in A Raisin in the Sun. Since then, her star just continued to rise with the actress continuing to snag lead roles, especially in recent years. In 2013, she starred in the blockbuster smash The Best Man Holiday and 2014's Repentance soon after. Her next film, The Perfect Man, is set to premiere in September 2015.
