The role of def rhyming cabbie Chris "Cav" Anton Vichon went to Mos Def. The Grammy-winning, Emmy and Golden Globe-nominated rapper/actor has proven to be one of the most skilled actor of all hip hop thespians.  He landed roles in 2004's Something the Lord Made, 2008's Cadillac Records and 2009's Next Day Air. He has since begun going by the name Yasiin Bey.
