Jay-Z got into a bit political hot water when, in an interview with New York Times Magazine, he said he never supported Occupy Wall Street because he didn't understand it. This after the hip hop mogul's Rocawear clothing company sold Occupy-themed T-shirts. Russell Simmons, in turn, took to the web to address Jay and explained the movement to him.
