Raging Bull

Regarded as one of the best films of all time, Raging Bull features a career-making performance by a young Robert De Niro as middleweight boxing champ Jake La Motta, a physically and emotionally destructive man, who unleashes his anger both inside and outside the ring. The film catapulted De Niro, who won an Oscar for the role, and director Martin Scorcese from promising young talents to the voices of their generation.
