Mario Van Peebles - The son of pioneering film director Melvin Van Peebles, Mario directed and starred in Posse as head bandit Jesse Lee. Mario, whose film career spans over 40 years, is as equally known for his work behind the camera as he is for acting in front of one. Besides classics like 1991's New Jack City and 2003's Baadasssss, he's recently helmed and starred in We the Party and the 50 Cent-led film Things Fall Apart. Stephen Baldwin - The younger brother of actor Alec Baldwin, Stephen was cast as Little J, the token Caucasian of Jesse's crew. The film veteran's acting résumé hasn't made him as huge as his big brother, but Stephen has starred in hit flicks like The Usual Suspects (1995) and The Flintstones in Viva Rock Vegas (2000). Tone Lōc - Late '80s rap star Tone Lōc played the part of posse member Angel. Famous for his 1988 hit rap song "Wild Thing," Tone, like many pop rappers of his time, also found steady TV and film roles. He landed a part in the crime classic Heat, as well as a reoccuring role on the TV series Thieves and Roc. Big Daddy Kane - Around the time of his role as the gambler Father Time in Posse, the legendary rap artist appeared partially nude in Playgirl magazine and in Madonna's photo book Sex, sending his music career into decline. Unable to cross over into acting, Kane landed bit roles in a handful of forgettable films like the comedy Meteor Man and Dead Heist.
