Paula Patton vs. Robin Thicke - Celebrity splits often end in bitter battles played out in the courtroom and the tabloids, but when lovers-turned-enemies have kids together, that's when things usually turn ugly. Robin Thicke and Paula Patton's contentious relationship has been playing out in front of paparazzi ever since Paula accused Thicke of being physically abusive to both her and their son. She even sought a restraining order against her ex, and when he allegedly violated it on Friday by stepping too far into her personal space during a hand-off of their son Julian, 6, Paula called 911 on him. So sad.

Chris Brown vs. Nia Guzman - Chris Brown and Nia Guzman, the mother of his 3-year-old, have been fighting over the little girl in court almost since the day she was born. While Breezy had the last laugh in court last year when the judge handed him a major victory with joint custody and reasonable child support, these two are still feuding on social media.

Joseline Hernandez vs. Stevie J - For two people with as much drama in their relationship as these L&HH stars, the last thing they need to fight over is a baby. Welp, that's exactly what happened when the Puerto Rican Princess got preggers and claimed Stevie was the daddy. Joseline had to sue Stevie in order to get him to take a paternity test, and then allegedly physically attacked him days before she was set to deliver, prompting Stevie to claim she was using drugs while pregnant. Sheesh. Somehow these two managed to get it together in the nick of time for their daughter's birth, and — for now, anyway — all seems well.

Ludacris v. Tamika Fuller - The "Money Maker" rapper became the topic of headlines after he was accused of paying off his baby's mother Tamika Fuller to terminate her pregnancy (he was in a relationship with now-wife Eudoxie at the time of their affair). Despite the claims by his former flame, the newly married emcee was awarded full custody of their 1-year-old daughter, Cai.(Photos from left: Dimitrios Kambouris/Getty Images for Gabrielle's Angel Foundation, Tamika Fuller via Instagram)

Fetty Wap v. Masika Kalysha - The drama between these two wasn't about who gets custody of the baby, but about Fetty refusing to claim the baby. Before Masika gave birth to their little one, Fetty tried everything possible to avoid putting his name on the birth certificate. But once a paternity test proved the child was his, he seemed to admirably stepped up to the plate. Still, though he's up-to-speed on daddy duties doesn't mean his relationship with Masika has improved.

Big Boi vs. Sherlita Patton - Unlike most custody battles, this one has a happy ending. After filing for divorce from her rapper husband Big Boi in October 2013, Sherlita Patton requested full custody of their minor child. Though she cited their marriage as "irretrievably broken," she and the Outkast member decided to give their love another try, calling off their divorce a year later.(Photos from left: Paras Griffin/Getty Images, Prince Williams/FilmMagic)

Usher vs. Tameka Foster - After this couple's messy divorce was finalized in 2009, both parties fought for sole custody of their two young sons. Just weeks after Foster's son from a previous marriage (and Usher's stepson) Kyle Glover was tragically killed in a jet ski accident, a judge awarded Usher full custory of the boys. A year later, after a pool accident sent their 5-year-old Usher Raymond V to the ICU, Foster tried again to regain custody, but to no avail.(Photos: Neilson Barnard/Getty Images; John E. Halle Berry vs. Gabriel Aubry - The battle between these former lovers over their daughter Nahla Aubry is among the ugliest we've ever seen. The Canadian model/actor blocked Berry from moving her family to France with her new husband Olivier Martinez, and Berry has accused Aubry of everything from abuse to using racial slurs around their daughter and even straightening her hair to make her appear less Black. On several occasions, child protective services even got involved. (Photos: Survivor/PacificCoastNews.com; John Shearer/Getty Images)

Siohvaughn Funches vs. Dwyane Wade - We get that it's hard to see your ex move on to a new relationship, but D-Wade's baby momma seemed to be taking matters too far. Despite the NBA star's assertions that he's provided millions of dollars of alimony and child support for Funches and their two children, the former baller wife caused a scene in front of a Chicago courtroom pretending to be homeless to prove a point. Wade was awarded full custody of the kids, with Funches allowed visitation rights.(Photos: Courtesy Cook County Sheriff Office; Mark Davis/Getty Images)

Deion Sanders vs. Pilar Sanders - After their divorce a few years ago, the ex-NFL star had been granted primary custody of the couple's three kids. Pilar vowed to fight to win the children back, however, and sued her ex, who had moved on to a relationship with producer Tracey Edmonds, for fraud and emotional distress. (Photos: Elsa/Getty Images; AP Photo)

Britney Spears vs. Kevin Federline - This custody battle turned into a bizarre turn of events — and an image overhaul for Federline. The couple was engaged in a heated war over their two sons when Spears hit her lowest point, demonstrated by extremely erratic behavior and a 5150 forced psychiatric hold. K-Fed stepped up, along with Spears's parents, and took primary custody of the couple's two sons while she sought help and recovered. Now, the pop star seems to be healthier and happier than ever and the exes appear to have an amicable custody agreement.(Photos: Jason Merritt/Getty Images; David Hardenberg/Getty Images

Kid Cudi - The rapper/actor spent a year trying to gain primary custody of his adorable daughter from her mother (whose identity remains anonymous), but gave up in late 2012 after failing to make any headway against his ex's claims that he was an absentee father who provided "sporadic" support and has a history of drug problems. In exchange for standing down, Cudi got visitation rights to his daughter and made a promise to provide child support.(Photo: Instagram via Indicudominate)

Debbie Rowe vs. Michael Jackson - Like many things in Jackson's life, his custody arrangement with baby mama Rowe was bizarre. When the couple divorced in 1999, Rowe reportedly gave MJ full custody of their kids in exchange for a substantial settlement. She also agreed to stay out of their lives for good. But the former nurse tried to have the decision reversed in 2004 after sex abuse allegations came out against MJ, and Rowe was awarded visitation rights after Michael's untimely death in 2009. Since then, Row has spent more and more time with her kids — especially then-troubled teen Paris Jackson — though she didn't make any moves for formal custody.(Photos: Aaron Lambert-Pool/Getty Images; Frederick M. Chris Bosh vs. Allison Mathis - The Miami Heat player may be able to defeat his opponents on the court, but had a tougher time with his ex-wife in court. Soon after the championship season was over, Bosh filed court docs seeking primary custody of his daughter, Trinity, calling into question Mathis's parenting and alleging that she's trying to alienate him from his daughter. Mathis fired back with her own suit, saying Bosh's claims are bogus.   (Photo: Courtesy of Newsone.com)

Whitney Houston vs. Bobby Brown - After 14 years of dysfunctional marriage, Whitney and Bobby called it quits and wound up in court fighting over their only daughter, Bobbi Kristina Brown. The pop diva had sole custody of the 14-year-old, but Bobby claimed his ex was preventing him from having any contact with his daughter. Whitney testified that Brown was “unreliable,” Brown disputed her claim and this went on for years. Of course, everything changed after Whitney died suddenly in 2012. Her mother Cissy Houston took over parental duties until Bobbi's own untimely death.(Photos: AP Photo/Evan Agostini, File; Frederick M. Brown/Getty Images for BET)
