Any Time, Any Place - Khia knows how to keep her name ringing and will take it to whomever, and that includes pop royalty. In 2006, she put Janet Jackson and producer Jermaine Dupri on blast for not putting her in the video for their collaborative effort, "So Excited." The back and forth continued with J.D. even calling the Florida MC "ungrateful."(Photos from left: Johnny Nunez/WireImage, Andreas Rentz/Getty Images)

Re-Up - Khia returned with her second album, Gangstress, in 2006 and got more open with her lyrics than even Lil Kim. Too gangsta for radio, she did have the strip clubs popping for a brief spell as she tore into an ex with "Snatch the Cat Back."(Photo: Divine / Dirty Down / Artemis / Epic Records)

Will Rap for Food - There's never been any shame in her game and in 2012 The Thug Misses was allegedly investigated for stealing food stamps and committing welfare fraud. The news made the headlines around the time Khia had an album about to drop and even had fun with the story as she Tweeted, "MotorMouf AkA Khia Shamone Available Now On ITunes Food Stamps Welcome We Except Cash & EBT No Credit!! Get $$"(Photo: Khia via Twitter)

Still Going - Khia has faced many bumps in her career so it's shocking to many that she's released five albums since 2002, with her most recent being Love Locs (2014), which featured the single "Been a Bad Girl." (Photo: Thug Misses Entertainment / Big Cat Records)

BBHMM - Khia and Gucci Mane both used to rock with Big Cat records, and the ATL trap star even appeared on her Nasti Muzik album in 2008. And like Gucci, she had issues with the label, which made headlines as she claimed the project had no promotion and bounced a few checks to her. (Photos from left: Ray Tamarra/Getty Images, Taylor Hill/Getty Images)

Respect Me - Khia made a little noise back in 2008 with her single "Respect Me." It didn't blow like her one hit, but you had to give her props for keeping the indie train moving as she even tried to flip it as an original freestyle when she appeared on VH1's Miss Rap Supreme. She didn't follow the rules and got called out, but you can't knock her grind for subliminally giving her pre-recorded record some free live promotion. (Photo: Thug Misses Entertainment / Warlock Records / Sexy Records, Inc, / Phase One Communications / Sony Red)

Did It on'em  - The best way to keep your name in the news is to fire upon whoever is hot, and Nicki Minaj felt the Thug Misses wrath in 2010 when the Young Money vixen dropped her debut, Pink Friday. Deciding to play journalist, Khia reviewed the album on her blog and had these choice words:“This b**ch needs to be SHOT on site. It smells WORSER than the gas that’s coming out of my A**, from all of the Turkey that I ate over the Thanksgiving weekend. Someone needs to give this B***H a FLEET Enima and “FLUSH” her IMMEDIATELY, She is nothing but a "Ghostwritten", Weezy-wannabe Slore!” (Photo: Thug Misses Entertainment)

Respect Me - Despite having a hit record under her belt, Khia threw her hat into the ring with aspiring MCs on VH1's Miss Rap Supreme in 2008. She may have been eliminated, but not before letting MC Serch have the gas face as she made her exit. Can't be mad at her though for putting herself in front of millions of viewers as she got her free promotion on. (Photo: Thug Misses Entertainment)
