Foxx first grabbed national attention on the groundbreaking sketch comedy show In Living Color, creating hilarious characters like Miss “I’m gonna rock your world” Wanda Jackson. But his deft portrayal of the musical genius Ray Charles in the 2004 biopic Ray earned Foxx an Academy Award for Best Actor. The multitalented Texas native is also a Grammy-nominated singer who’s worked with Kanye West, Twista, and T-Pain, scoring several platinum hits, including the club classic “Blame It.”
