Model-turned-actress Tracee Ellis Ross (the daughter of music legend Diana Ross) first plunged into print and fashion modeling work, posing for such legendary photographers as Herb Ritts and Francesco Scavullo and working as a contributing fashion editor for magazines like Mirabella and New York. Ross segued into acting in the mid- to late ’90s, making her cinematic debut in the 1996 psychological drama Far Harbor. She hosted a talk show called The Dish on the Lifetime network before making her biggest splash as the thirty-something attorney-turned-restaurateur Joan Clayton on the blockbuster UPN sitcom Girlfriends. In 2007, Ross teamed up with writer/director Tyler Perry for the big-screen romantic comedy Daddy’s Little Girls. Tracee will be starring as Carla Reed alongside Malcolm-Jamal Warner in BET's Reed Between the Lines, premiering this Fall.
