Bamboozled
Mos Def got his acting break in Spike Lee’s 2000 satirical film, “Bamboozled.” Known for just his rapping up until that point, Mos Def studied experimental theatre at New York University. Along with Canibus, MC Serch and Charli Baltimore, the foursome played the hip-hop group “The Mau Maus” in the film.
