Posted Aug. 1, 2007 - Karrine Steffans recently sat down with Essence.com for a candid interview to promote her new book “Vixen Diaries,” a steamy tell-all about her various celebrity sexcapades that is a follow-up to her previous book, “Confessions of a Video Vixen.”

On her relationship with Ne-Yo.
Ne-Yo and I are friends, but he's just not my type of person. I had to have a conversation with him because he thought that I had written a detailed description of our sex life in my book. Instead of asking me, he responded to a reporter's question in a tone that I didn't appreciate, implying that I'd been telling lies about our relationship. I never claimed him as my boyfriend. Once I told him he wasn't in my book, then he was cool.
On the public's perception that she sleeps around and writes about it.
Again, I don't have as much sex as people think I do. Honestly, I don't even want to have sex. I am focused on my company and making things happen. So, again, I haven't slept with as many people as most think I have, and my sex life is really not that different from anyone else's.
On allegations that Irv Gotti was more of a pimp than a friend.
Irv allowed me to live, and I love him to pieces for that. Whenever there was a music conference or big investors visiting the city who needed to be shown a good time, I was the "good time." Although the circumstances were a little shady, the people I met during that time in my life are still around and I wouldn't be where I am without them, and I still love them.
Andre's 3000 Film Projects
Outkast frontman and actor, Andre 3000 will play the iconic entertainer Sammy Davis Jr. in the upcoming film “Sammy and Kim,” one of several movies currently in production featuring the late star.
During an interview with MTV, Andre said “Actually, I just got the script; I am checking it out now, and we will see where it goes from there."
“Sammy and Kim” will follow the volatile relationship between Davis and sexy bomshell Kim Novak. Their interracial union was cause for constant drama at the time. Davis later married actress May Britt.
Following his partner, Big Boi's acting lead, Andre will star in the two upcoming films, "The Battle in Seattle" and "Semi-Pro." "Seattle" tells the story about the World Trade Organization and co-star Woody Harrelson and Charlize Theron. Andre shows off his basketball skills in "Semi-Pro" opposite Will Ferrell.
"I am playing a 1970s basketball star showoff on the team, and we are trying to make it to the NBA; it's hilarious."
