The overall review of Drake’s Views is still up in the air, however his first week’s sales figures aren’t.
Sales numbers within only the United States and Canada show Views selling over 820,000 copies within the first two days of its release. That breaks down to 740,000 units sold in the U.S., and more than 80,000 in Canada. Apple defines album project units as album sales along with individual song sales divided by 10 in addition to on-demand audio streams divided by 1,500. The album’s 20 tracks may contribute to an increase of sales numbers, including “Hotline Bling,” which has been streamed over 432 million times on Spotify.
Even with Views being out Drizzy still says even newer music is slated to come out. At a recent event, he announced that he has more coming but was vague with the details. It's OVO SZN indeed.
