FYI, Birdman Also Wants "Respek" From Rick Ross And Trick Daddy

Even though he didn't pull up on them...

Birdman took some Ls at the end of April. His now-infamous Breakfast Club appearance had the meme gods firing on all cylinders as numerous things he said during the abrupt and confrontational interview made headlines around the music world.

Well now, after a short time in seclusion, the YMCMB headman did a new interview with The Breakfast Club’s rival morning program, Hot 97’s Ebro in the Morning. During the interview, which hasn’t officially been released in video form, but was transcribed by AllHipHop, Birdman addresses all of his more testy relationships including Rick Ross and Trick Daddy.

“Me and Ross were like brothers, everyday hanging together,” he said in detailing his current relationship with Rozay. “One of the reasons we came to Miami is because them n****s embraced us. I don’t know what his call was to even get in me and my son’s business, so whatever business me and him have, that’s my son. That sh*t’s gonna work itself out.

“I have the utmost respect for Ross,” he continued, “I taught him a lot of game in this sh*t. He watched my pimping, and he went and did his own thing with it. It threw me off. I ain’t spoke to him or seen him. If we speak, we speak. I can go the rest of my life not speaking to nobody. I don’t give a f**k about that.”

In regards to Trick Daddy, Birdman had a little different of a tone and demanded the Miami rapper respek his name.

“I’m a straight gangsta," he proclaimed. "That n***a been in my hood. He knows what’s happening with me. I guess a n***a get on the radio and wanna be funny or something.

“Ross and Trick, they had their opinion,” he added. “They said that sh*t one time. You ain’t gonna keep hearing that sh*t. That n***a on the radio station, he’s been playing with me for three, four years. He’s constantly playing with my name. Find you somebody to play with. That’s all I’m saying.”

Also during the interview Birdman described his relationship with Lil Wayne as more of a “misunderstanding than a money issue.” He also still calls him his “son.” As far as his confrontation with Charlamagne Tha God, Baby says his goal was to go up to the radio host’s domain and make sure that he too, “put some respect” on his name.
