This is why they call her the Queen.

If you think Beyoncé is only pulling out the Prince tributes because he passed away, you’re severely misinformed.

Five years ago, during her headlining performance at Glastonbury, Bey covered Prince’s “The Beautiful Ones” from Purple Rain, mashing it with Kings of Leon’s “Sex on Fire.”

Last night (May 9), during her Formation World Tour stop in Dallas, the Queen once again performed the passionate tribute to pay homage to the deceased icon.

Prince passed away on April 21 at his home in Paisley Park in Minnesota. He was hospitalized on April 15 after his private plane made an emergency landing in Illinois. He had been fighting the flu, however things seemed to be looking upward as he threw a party at his estate just a day after returning home from the hospital. He was 57 years old.
