Nas has worked with a lot of people since entering the rap game in the early '90s. Some of the collaborative decisions he’s made during that time have been both brilliant and questionable.
When asked by blogger Lindsey India whether he’d be interested in executive producing the Queensbridge rapper’s next album during a recent Wing Stop event in New York City, Rick Ross said he’d be totally down.
“You know, Nas is so great as an MC. He’s a legend,” Ross replied. “So I wouldn’t even play with that, because of course you know Rozay will f***ing do it!
“You know I would love to do it, but more importantly, the way Nas moves is so calculated,” he continued. “I feel like everything he does is perfect timing. He’s a legend, and I would love to. You know it’s whatever for the big homie.”
Rozay is known for his ear for beats, so while the initial reaction to the proposed collaboration may be sour, if you think about it, it may not be all that bad. The duo have worked together on songs in the past. Tracks like “Accident Murderers” and “One of Us” are examples proving that they make a pretty potent pair.
