T.I. Defends Chris Brown's Views on His Daughter's 'Risky' Outfit

"It's our job to protect our daughters from that type of perception."

T.I. let his fatherly instinct kick in during a conversation this week on The View.

The conversation, as led by Whoopi Goldberg and the show’s other hosts, focused on the recent controversy surrounded Chris Brown, where he had a strong reaction against how Nia Guzman, the mother of Brown’s daughter, dressed the 2-year-old and had her pose for a photo.

“It’s crazy to me that a parent would [be] OK dressing our daughter like she 16,” Breezy wrote in the now-deleted Instagram post showcasing Royalty dressed in a black tutu and leg warmers. “I ain’t cool wit that. SHE IS 2!!!!”

“I agree with Chris, you know, simply because I’m a father and I see the world through the eyes of a man," T.I. offered, sharing Brown's perspective.

“It’s our job to protect our daughters from that type of perception,” he continued.

Goldberg weighed in, saying she didn’t think the photo was inappropriate, but that Brown's comments bring to light the type of attention he was hoping to have avoided in the first place.

“For me, if we’re going to teach our young men: Two is not sexual,” she commented.

T.I. and Goldberg ended up agreeing that it is important to let kids be kids.

Check out their conversation in the clip below.
