Prince Lives on by Breaking Yet Another Music Record

He's still killing the game.

Prince continues to prove just how powerful his legacy is, even in death.

Once fans learned the tragic news that the iconic musician is no longer with us, the decision to purchase his music became a no-brainer and resulted in his career hitting a new milestone.

As reported, Prince hit the record for holding down the most positions on the Billboard 200 in a single week. The legendary musician is the first in history to control almost 10 percent of all slots, with his music filling 19 positions on the charts.

Before Prince, the Beatles were distinctly known for having the most albums simultaneously on the Billboard 200, when back in 2014, the group managed to place 13 albums on the board at the same time.

While Beyoncé’s release of Lemonade did snag the number-one slot, Prince held an impressively strong presence in the top 10. He and Bey also went on to break a record together, as each put eight different songs in the top 40 on the Hot 100 chart, all at the same time.
