R. Kelly Had to Prove He Was Really R. Kelly at a Nathan's Hot Dog Stand

Kellz still got pipes.

R. Kelly may not be flourishing at the level he once was, but you’d never think he’d have to prove his identity to strangers on the street.

Well, that’s kind of what happened recently next to a Nathan’s hot dog stand in Jacksonville, Florida. An intoxicated shirtless man ran into the Grammy Award-winning singer and bet him $100 he could out-sing him after not believing he was indeed R. Kelly.

Kellz accepted the challenge and launched into an amazing rendition of his 1993 hit “Bump ‘N Grind.” Still not convinced, the shirtless man – smoking a Black & Mild of course – told the camera, “Still ain’t R. Kelly,” and refused to pay up his bet. Kelly was a good sport though and stated the obvious: that the man was “drunk as hell.”
