Here's How Meek Mill and Nicki Minaj Spent His First Weekend of Freedom

Free at last.

Published June 6th

While all the pandemonium went down in New York over the weekend, things were a little more subdued in Philly.

Also more subdued is Meek Mill after spending more than 90 days under house arrest for violating his probation. Now wrapping up his sentence, Meek and bae Nicki Minaj decided to hit the town and attend a few events.

On Sunday (June 5), Meek appeared on-stage during Beyonce's concert in Philadelphia and performed “Imma Boss” and “All Eyes on You” alongside DJ Khaled and Rick Ross. The couple also made an appearance at The Roots Picnic a day earlier, as Meek hit the stage with fellow Philly native Lil Uzi Vert.

Meek Mill was slated for release from house arrest on June 1, however his sentence was extended a few days because of a lapse in community service. Apparently the community service he participated in was not approved by a judge, as he was supposed to be helping the homeless, Habitat for Humanity or senior citizens and veterans during his 90 days under house arrest, but instead spent time visiting schools, assisting Flint’s water crisis and delivering motivational speeches.

Check out some of what Meek Mill and Nicki Minaj did over the weekend below.
