The up-and-coming sister duo, Iman, 25, and Siham Hashi, 27, have paired with actor Elijah Kelley for their band Faarrow's latest track, "Lost," which just might be the surprise jam of the summer.

The Somali sisters have been pursuing music since they discovered their passion for it in their teenage years, and use the inspirations of both Africa's and America's rich musical history for a sound that is all their own.

It was when the two sisters began working on their debut album that they joined forces with rising star Kelley, who was recently cast in BET's own New Edition: The Movie, which is slated to premier in 2017. Kelley will star alongside Empire's Bryshere Y. Gray, and Keith Powers.

The biopic will tell the story of the iconic R&B boy band of the same name and will tell the story of its stars from childhood to when they achieved world wide stardom.

As for Faarrow, they're already turning heads with their unique sound and style.

Iman and Siham sat down with CNN to talk about their influnces, and their music. They also explained how they paired up with the talented actor and singer. "We've been working with Elijah Kelley," they said. "He was in 'Hairspray,' 'The Butler,' and most recently he was in the George Lucas animation, 'Strange Magic.' That's what he's more known for but his first passion is music. He's an incredible producer, writer, and singer. I just felt like he was always the missing piece. He brought everything together."

The three created the newest jam, "Lost," which Siham calls, "Pop with undertones of hip hop and rhythmic African percussion. It's a fusion of everything."

This rising group is sure to make waves with their individual sound. Take a listen before they blow up!
