Bow Wow recently shared a hilarious anecdote about what happened when he let his level of fame get to his head during his days when he still had the "Lil" in front of his name. Luckily, T.I. was in the picture to put him in his place.

“True s**t,” Bow Wow says during the interview. “I said, ‘Aye, aye, can you get me a Sprite?’ Like you know, like he's a runner. I’m like, K.P. got this guy writing my records, helping me do things in the studio, he’s supposed to be like my new Jermaine.”

“I’m super more famous than T.I. at this point. Hella more famous,” Bow Wow continues. “I’m like, ‘Yo, while I’m writing, you get me a Sprite?’ Man, T.I.P. looked at me, and that was the day I had to start growing up.”

He then went on to share that what T.I. said next taught him a lesson he will never forget.

“T.I.P. looked at me and that motherf**ker said, 'Hey check this out here, pimp. I’ma tell you something right now. I don’t know what y’all do over there, but over here, you get your own godd**n sodas around here. I’ma teach you how to be a motherf**king man.'”

While Bow Wow retells this memory with a smile on his face now, he reflected that at the time he wasn’t sure how working with T.I. was going to work out after all. Good thing Bow Wow learned this lesson about showing respect early on in his career.
