Lil Wayne suffered a seizure earlier this week (June 13), forcing his private jet to make an emergency landing in Nebraska while en route to California.

While the rapper still remains relatively quiet about the situation, he did take to Twitter today (June 15) to reach out and thank his fans for their prayers.

In a brief message, Weezy spoke out to his fans for the first time following his hospitalization.

“Thanx for all the prayers!! I love y’all,” the rapper posted on Twitter.

Sources confirmed following the incident the he was “in stable condition” and “doing better” and now fans are feeling relieved to hear it from the rapper himself.

Unfortunately, Wayne’s recent health scare brings back into the spotlight the allegation that his alleged drug use was to blame for his seizure. While he has been open about his partying in the past, it may be time for him to acknowledge the subject once again.

We’re glad to hear the rapper is resting and on his way to recovery following this week’s health scare.
