Kanye West’s ‘Famous’ Music Video Got an Interesting Reaction From Amber Rose

She says she's sick of this one thing about 'Ye.

Last week, Kanye West released a “shocking” music video for his hit single “Famous.”

The visuals depicted a naked likeness to some of the most well-known celebrities of our time, including Hillary ClintonDonald Trump,Taylor SwiftAmber RoseKim KardashianRihannaChris Brown and more. While Breezy made it clear he was totally cool with ‘Ye including him in the music video, others weren’t so thrilled with it (cough, T-Swift).

One person in particular didn’t seem to mind being included, but did mention she has a different issue with West.

Amber Rose recently gave an interview where she was asked about being included in ‘Ye’s visual and her response was an interesting one, not evening mentioning her role in the music video but in fact a larger problem she has with the rapper.

“The misconception — and I still hear this seven years later, to this day — is, ‘You’re only famous for Kanye,’” she shares in the interview. “Initially, absolutely. In 2009, when they’re like, ‘Amber Rose — Kanye’s girlfriend,’ I was like, ‘OK, that’s pretty accurate. That’s what it is.’ But I didn’t ask to be famous, and I didn’t even talk or do interviews for two years, because I thought, ‘I don’t want this. I’m not famous.’”

“Over time, with going out in public, I realized it would never go away, so I didn’t have any choice but to progress,” Rose continued. “Everything I’ve done since then is my own doing, and I’ve worked my f**king a** off for everything I have. But Wendy Williams put Charlamagne on. Jay Z put Kanye on! But they don’t do that to men, and they always want to diminish my accomplishments and put them on someone else when I work really hard.”

She definitely raises a valid point.
