Troy Ave Has Been Released, and His Bail Was Insane

He paid a pretty penny for his freedom.

After a T.I. concert took an unexpected violent turn earlier this summer (May 25), Troy Ave found himself arrested and looking at a slew of charges, including attempted murder, reckless endangerment and criminal possession.

As reported, the rapper has today (July 11) been released from Rikers Island after posting bond.

His freedom cost him a pretty penny, with the rapper being hit with a bond price tag of $500,000. The conditions of his release are that he's required to wear an ankle monitor and is not allowed to travel outside of New York City. He also is not allowed to enter any concert halls, bars or performance venues.

After the chaotic events, which resulted in the death of his bodyguard, Ronald "Edgar" McPhatter, new information in the investigation surfaced that there may have been a second shooter involved in the incident. A second gunman is currently still being sought out as the investigation continues.

At this time, Troy Ave is the only suspect that has been arrested as a result of the incident that unfolded at Irving Plaza.
