One Person in Particular Is Furious About the Rich Homie Quan Slander

She has a point. Some of the backlash is unacceptable.

Rich Homie Quan made both headlines and hip-hop history after last night, but not for the reason he originally was hoping for.

The rapper has been facing nonstop backlash since messing up some of Notorious B.I.G.’s lyrics last night (July 11) during the Lil' Kim tribute at the VH1 Hip Hop Honors.

One singer in particular has his back while also shaming those who are still trolling him at an extreme, ruthless level.

“Yes, that man messed up last night,” singer Brave Williams said in a heated post on Instagram discussing the situation. “Everyone in America got the memo. He got the memo. He was there. However that does not warrant these hateful, cyberbullying attacks that you are all making on this man’s life.”

She also talks about how she is disgusted that in light of recent protesting efforts, people seem to have forgotten that threatening a Black man’s life for messing up a rap lyric is the complete opposite of what the #BlackLivesMatter movement intends to promote.

“You are entitled to speak your opinion but you don’t have to be the hate that we are trying to fight against,” she says in the post. “Stop the hate.”

Check out her infuriated reaction in the video clip below.
