It Looks Like American Express Has Had It With Lil Wayne

He's been reportedly hit with a hefty lawsuit.

After experiencing yet another seizure earlier this week, Lil Wayne has been hit with another piece of unfortunate news.

While he claims his health is improving and his recent seizures have occurred due to his doctors figuring out an effective prescription to treat his epilepsy, the rapper has been hit with another hardship to overcome: some financial woes.

As reported, Wayne is being sued by American Express after racking up over $86,396.75 in unpaid bills that date back to last December.

TMZ shares that Weezy is being sued for the full amount of the unpaid debt, as well as for the legal fees now involved in the situation.

Earlier this year, in March, the rapper filed a suit against Universal Music Group, which distributes the releases for Cash Money and Young Money, seeking over $40 million for unpaid royalties.

Hopefully both of these matters will be sorted soon, but more important, that Wayne takes the time to rest and recover from his recent health scares.
