Beyoncé Made a Change to Her 'Formation' Tour Choreography in Light of Gun Violence

Yup, the king is STILL in formation.

Beyoncé’s fanbase proves once again they are just as attentive to detail as the singer herself.

During her Formation World Tour, Beyoncé has (naturally) been applauded for her incredible choreography, but also for the important messages behind her music. As the BeyHive pointed out, the singer recently switched a move for a socially conscious reason, reminding us of the undeniable fact that she is always in formation.

While pointing your fingers in the air and pretending to shoot a gun is essentially harmless, the singer is more focused on what the implications could be. Her decision to replace the air gun with a “hands up, don’t shoot” action instead is one that has her fans celebrating her activism once more.

Beyoncé has been extremely vocal about her stances on gun control in the past and continues to be an advocate for the changes desperately needed in our country.

“We are sick and tired of the killings of young men and women in our communities,” she recently shared on her website in the wake of the deaths of Alton Sterling and Philando Castile. “It is up to us to take a stand and demand that they ‘stop killing us.’”

The singer once again is proving that she lives and breathes the messages she promotes in her music, with something as simple as changing a dance move having the potential to make a big impact.

Check out her new dance routine in the clip below.
