Over this past weekend, Jeezy decided to do some good and give back to his beloved hometown, Atlanta.

The rapper teamed up with his Street Dreamz Foundation to organize a generous donation of 2,500 backpacks to be filled with school supplies and distributed to students at the elementary school level throughout his hometown.

Jeezy also was joined by Lil Jon and Shanti Das (and her Hip-Hop Professional Foundation), all of whom partnered with Hot 107.9 Atlanta and Walmart for the charitable act and just in time for the kids to be gearing up to go back to school.

As reported, both Jeezy and Lil Jon purchased 1,000 backpacks with the rest of the backpacks and supplies coming from local donations.
