Word To The Wise: Wale Will Not Tolerate Hateful Comments About His Baby Girl

One comment on Instagram really got him going.

Wale is enjoying the finer things in life, such as the joys that come with being a new father.

The rapper recently took to the ‘gram to share his first selfie with his newborn baby girl, Zyla Moon Oluwakemi. While a majority of the comments reflected the adorable nature of the father-daughter candid, one user in particular rubbed him the wrong way.

While obviously a troll, one Instagram user wrote “F**k that little b***h” on Wale's post of him and his newborn daughter. (Who does that?!)

Wale got wind of the comment and decided to engage the user, calling him out by writing, “u have to hide behind a fake account to talk about a new born.”

Another fan then jumped in, advising Wale to “stop giving haters so much of your energy” and also advising to “forget about the trolls.”

Wale then chimed in once more to remind fans just how much negative commentary he has to consciously try to ignore on a daily basis.

“Everybody can tell u how to avoid a bullet that doesn’t have their name on it,” Wale clapped back in the comments. “I appreciate your ‘advice’ but u have not a clue what it’s like or just how much I ignore on a daily basis. I don’t think you would be able to ignore half as much as I do.”

While the rapper has a point that being in the spotlight comes with its own share of cons, such as people trying to take away from his fresh experiences in parenthood, he also wants to make it known he will not tolerate any hateful comments toward his daughter.

Looks like he’s well on his way to being a very protective father, which we trust his little girl will grow to appreciate when she's older.

Take a look at the full exchange below.
