In Case You Were Wondering, Drake Yoga Is a Thing

For getting your feelings and then sweating it out.

Drake really is the perfect soundtrack for every occasion. From blasting some of the singles off of Views in a club to driving around to even popping in ear buds while you grocery shop, Drizzy just hits the spot.

Most recently, his music has set the mood for yoga class. Yup, you read that correctly. Drake-themed yoga is officially a thing.

For people who want to be in their feelings and then sweat it out, a growing phenomenon affectionately known as Namasdrake is a perfect and practical solution.

The class, currently only available in Los Angeles, is a strength-based vinyasa yoga class where Drake fans and yogis become one. The class is organized and founded by DJ/event promoter T.J. Petracca and DJ/yoga instructor Paul Schneider.

“He’s so sensitive, but at the same time has these really hard hip-hop songs,” Schneider explains of the inspiration of the class. “It’s like the yin and yang of yoga.”

Makes sense to us. If you’re not totally on board with the yoga part, following each class is a “namasdranks” happy hour, which takes place in the venue’s beer garden and serves Drake-themed cocktails such as "What a Time to Be a Lime," because of course it does.

The class, which runs for one hour, is $23 dollars and offered on a monthly basis. Who knows, maybe this is even something Drizzy himself could get down with.
