Snoop Dogg and Wiz Khalifa Hit With Lawsuits From 17 Concertgoers

They won't forget this show, but unfortunately for an unfavorable reason.

Earlier this month, concertgoers had an unforgettable night seeing Snoop Dogg and Wiz Khalifa perform, but unfortunately the night was memorable for a less than favorable reason.

During their set in Camden, New Jersey, a railing unexpectedly collapsed at the venue injuring over 40 people. Witnesses also said that about 50 people fell approximately 10 feet onto a concrete slab at the base of the stage, with one attendee catching the whole incident on camera. As a result, naturally, the show ended abruptly.

Now, weeks later, it has been reported that both Wiz and Snoop have been served with lawsuits.

With several people having to be hospitalized as a result of the incident, it doesn’t come as too much of a surprise that legal action would be the next move.

As reported, 17 concertgoers have filed lawsuits against them, even being blamed for the incident.

Prior to the collapsing of the railing, Snoop and Wiz yelled, “Everybody in the motherf***ing grass bring your ass done here,” which is being cited on the lawsuit as a “call to action” that eventually led to the railing giving out.

Live Nation, BB&T Pavilion and employees of the venue are listed as a defendant on the suit, with Live Nation stating that they made repairs on the railing in the past year.

We’ll have to see how this one unfolds, but we trust Snoop and Wiz are more relieved that the fans affected are all OK than they are worried about the pending lawsuit.

Check out the footage of the railing collapsing in the video clip below.
