Digital piracy is alive and well these days, with reports revealing that Frank Ocean’s new album is growing to be one of the most illegally downloaded pieces of music this year.

According to reports, Ocean’s Blonde has been illegally downloaded a whopping 753,849 at the end of Thursday (August 25), and that number is well on its way to going over one million.

The data comes from Music Business Worldwide, a global tech company that provides content protection and data analytics. 

Kanye West’s The Life of Pablo also racked up some impressive piracy numbers as well, being reportedly downloaded half a million times while he was working out his final version for his TIDAL exclusive earlier this year.

Alternatively, market forecasters are predicting that Ocean’s release is set to be the third-largest debut of 2016. Sources are saying that it likely will start at around 275,000 equivalent album units sold in the week ending in August 25. Those numbers, once confirmed next week, will put Ocean’s project right behind Drake’s Views and Beyoncé’s Lemonade.

Ocean’s last album, Channel Orange, sold 131,000 copies in its first week back in 2012. Looks like he’s more than leveling up this time around.
