Lil Wayne isn’t here for being punked.
Last March, the rapper found himself having to deal with police responding to what turned out to be a hoax 911 call, during which it was claimed that four people were shot at his estate in Miami. It now appears as though being the subject of a falsely reported shooting is an unfortunate reoccurring habit and Wayne is fed up.
As reported, the most recent incident occurred last week when a caller falsely claimed that an unidentified male was shot and bleeding at Weezy’s house. When the police showed up, Wayne was cooperative and even let a K-9 unit enter his home.
However, as the report shared, after cooperating, Weezy then hit a boiling point where he reportedly yelled, “I’m tired of this s**t… take me to jail.” Police then put the rapper in handcuffs, but didn’t proceed with charging him because this 911 call proved to be false, with no victim on the scene.
It’s understandable that Lil Wayne was annoyed with being targeted by yet another 911 hoax, but giving up and saying, “take me to jail,” doesn’t sound like the Tunechi we all know and love.
It also is rumored that Weezy’s tweets hinting at retirement last week also were related to his most recent interaction with the Miami PD. Hopefully whatever is going on with Lil Wayne these days doesn’t keep escalating. We’d lose a lot without him in the rap game.
