It seems like a while but it’s been five months since Drake released his fourth solo studio album VIEWS.

It’s already topped Eminem in numerous sales categories and, as of last week, the project became the first album ever to achieve over 1 billion streams on Apple Music.

The Toronto rapper took to Instagram very early this morning (September 26) to share the news with the world. He posted a pic of the plaque he received to commemorate the feat, posing with numerous heads from the streaming service. He also revealed a close-up of his plaque in a separate pic and included the caption “B’s.”

VIEWS was released on April 29 and sold 600,000 copies on its first day in circulation. It’s since achieved triple platinum status, eclipsing the three million sales mark last month.

Drake is currently on his Summer Sixteen tour and released his 21-minute short film Please Forgive Me earlier today. The movie features music from VIEWS.
