Mary J. Blige to Critics: 'Shut the F**k Up!'

She's addressing her Hillary Clinton interview detractors.

After receiving a lot of backlash for her bizarre “singing interview” with Hillary Clinton, Mary J. Blige isn’t just crawling into a hole for the time being.

The R&B songstress decided to let her haters and critics know that she doesn’t care what they think and tweeted those sentiments loud and clear.

“EVERYBODY SHUT THE F**K UP!!!!!” Blige relayed in a quickly deleted tweet. “#takethat #haters #crabsinabarrel #simpleminded #the411.”

The harsh tweet cones just a day after the Apple Music promo for the interview was released. In it, Blige is singing Bruce Springsteen’s “American Skin” to the Democratic presidential hopeful, reciting, “If an officer stops you, always be polite and never, ever run away. Promise mama you'll keep your hands in sight.”

The video, which is slated to be released in full on Friday (September 30), was supposed to promote her new show with Apple Music called The 411.

Looks like everyone’s going back to the drawing board on this one. Check out the deleted tweet below.
