Kanye West Fans Were Not Very Understanding After Kim Kardashian's Robbery

She was robbed at gunpoint though...

Kanye West ended his set abruptly at Meadows Music Festival in New York City Sunday night (October 2), after his wife, Kim Kardashian, was reportedly robbed at gunpoint.

“I’m sorry, I have a family emergency,” he told the festival crowd while performing “Heartless.” “I have to stop the show.” He then ran off-stage in a hurry. It was later determined that Kim was in-fact robbed by masked men in Paris and $10 million worth of jewelry and other goods were removed from her possession.

Well, apparently this wasn’t a good enough excuse for tons of fans at Meadows. They apparently felt cheated by ‘Ye, who didn’t finish out the last 10 minutes of his set.

“Only people who truly got robbed here were @kanyewest fans,” a Twitter user tweeted after ‘Ye ended his set. “#themeadowsnyc.” Some didn’t believe the series of event were even real. “Kanye West appears with a 30 min delay cuts show halftime citing family emergency during #Meadows set,” another user wrote. “Why am I skeptical?”

CNN reports Kim Kardashian was held at gunpoint inside her Paris hotel room earlier in the evening by numerous armed masked men dressed as police officers. “She is badly shaken but physically unharmed,” spokesperson Ina Treciokas said post-robbery.

Kim Kardashian was in Paris for Paris Fashion Week with her mother, Kris Jenner, and sisters Kourtney Kardashian and Kendall Jenner. Kim and Kanye are known to frequently visit the French capital.
