Last night (October 4) Wale's night took an unexpected turn.

While he was leaving a Los Angeles area club, Bootsy Bellows, he appeared to be trailing a blonde white woman who turned around to confront him, snapping, "Are you really following me?" She then blew a massive amount of cigarette smoke in his face, making things seemingly more dramatic.

After the woman challenged the rapper, he reacted by immediately smacking her take-out container of food straight out of her hands and onto the ground.

As the two go back and forth a bit inaudibly, a confused and curious crowd gathers and the woman can be heard saying, "It's OK, I was done with that anyway."

While luckily that was as physical as the incident escalated to, the reason why both were so angry remained unknown. Wale has since come forward to share in an interview exactly what went down last night.

During an episode of TMZ Live, Wale consciously brought his baby girlZyla Moon, so that he "doesn't look like a monster," while discussing why the incident unfolded the way that it did.

The rapper explains that two girls had some harsh words with each other, with one calling the other one a "fat b***h." He then goes on to say that after that, there was some laughter which later was misinterpreted by the woman who was targeted by the commentary, who went on to explain that she comes from a background experiencing bulimia and found the comment to be out of line. She allegedly responded with a comment along the lines of "you people are so disrespectful," with the "you people part" triggering Wale to have a strong reaction.

"Where I'm from, when you say 'you people,' it just enrages me. What do you mean 'you people?'" he says. From there he approached her and she greeted him with the rude gesture of blowing smoke in his face.

"You don't even deserve to eat if you talking like that to me and blowing smoke in my face after I didn't do anything to you," he says, explaining he would never hit a girl but had no problem smacking her leftovers out of her hand. "Nah, rest in peace to your meal, sweetheart."

Wale, you might just be a hero for this one.
