Toni Braxton Won't Let Illness Stop Her, Hits Stage With Heart Monitor On Her Chest

She's truly relentless.

If there were ever an award for “Slay of the Day” we’d have to give it to Toni Braxton and her IDGAF attitude.

The Grammy-winning singer had a tour stop in Savannah, Georgia, Saturday night and rather than sit it out due to a recent hospital stay due to her fight with lupus, she took the stage with a heart monitor strapped to her chest and rocked the crowd.

The heart monitor is reportedly supposed to detect chest pain, oncoming heart attacks or a stroke. She’s required to wear it 24/7.

Braxton is currently on her The Hits tour. She’s already been hospitalized twice in October as a result of complications from her bout with lupus. Her October 15 show in Cleveland was postponed due to the disease. She stayed in the Ohio city until being released shortly afterward.

Toni Braxton’s tour ends on November 13 in Connecticut and all signs point to her finishing it out, health difficulties or not. Check out a short video of her performance with the heart monitor below as well as the schedule for her tour.
